BRIGADA ESKWELA 2013 kicks off May 20

            The nationwide schools maintenance week or Brigada Eskwela starts this coming May 20 and runs up to May 24, 2013. 

            Cadiz Viejo National High School has begun its early planning for the said annual school clean up to prepare the school for the June 2013 opening by holding a conference with its personnel in crafting its work plan.

            The Brigada Eskwela work plan details the specific activities for five days, identifies the area which need clean up and minor repairs, reflects the supplies and materials needed and the needed services of volunteers for manpower.

            The Brigada Eskwela activities include an opening program for the first day after a short parade to be followed by the orientation of the volunteers on their area of assignment which may include, but not limited to:

            1. Repair of roofs and gutter
            2. Repainting and repair of walls and fences
            3. School weeding and landscaping
            4. Fixing of lights and water facilities
            5. Repair and repainting of ceilings
            6. Sorting and repair of learning materials
            7. Repair and repainting of armchairs and tables

            CVNHS has also prepared letter of invitations to its stakeholders and tapping its potential donors and benefactors who may help the school procure the needed supplies and materials.

            At present, the school has already received initial pledges from willing donors here and aborad, to name a few:

           1. Rolan Espinosa  -  2 bags of premium cement
           2. Jovy Becaro      -  2 bags of premium cement
