On Tuesday, October 5 the school will be holding its program which pays tribute to teachers worldwide, the highlight of which is the saying of the teacher's prayer at 10:05 in the morning to be followed by the sounding of the bell.
Dubbed as World Teachers Month, the event is spearheaded by the Department of Education with its culmination on October 5 with the theme, ' My Teacher, My Hero ', with the activities honoring more than 500,000 elementary and secondary school teachers nationwide simultaneous with other countries worldwide.
At Cadiz Viejo National High School, the event has begun as early as September 3, 2010 which is led by its Supreme Student Government as it holds various activities honoring their school teachers from poster making, posting of messages at the school bulletin board for their teachers, to the highlight of the activity this coming Tuesday where a tribute program to CVNHS teachers shall be held.
