Cadiz Viejo National High School starts school year 2008-2009 with several tangible developments starting with its participation in the Brigada Sa Eskwela 2008 which was actively participated in by stakeholders name the Barangay Officials, Businessmen, former and present teachers, alumni members, parents, ans students.

Among the several changes which took place in CVNHS for the past three months starting from the month of March 2008 are: the renovation and repainting of the front portion of the school fence, the setting up of new lighting facilities, repainting of the school buildings, repairs of classrooms, chairs, and tables and the repair of its five personal computers. These are made possible through the school's MOOE.

CVNHS with the help of the stake holders is undoubtedly on the roadmap to more improved services to the school community. CVNHS is indeed on the roadmap to excellence.
